Company Philosophy

CCNA’s key attribute is its commitment to high quality advisory services and integrity in every aspect of its work. Following are some of the other major philosophies and policies that drive our practice.

Practical Solutions to Complex Problems

While we each have extensive experience as energy consultants, what sets us apart from many other consultants is that most CCNA affiliates have held previous positions in either public utilities or in the energy management areas of large industrial companies. CCNA is keenly aware that clients do not have the luxury of paying for academic advice that may not represent workable solutions to problems. Consequently, we provide practical services of immediate value to the client.

Technology

Given the complexity of today's problems and decisions, clients demand the most advanced analytical tools and database products available, as well as the hardware needed to take full advantage of these powerful programs. Each of our consultants carries a portable PC to the project site, equipped with high-speed modem. Computer modeling has played a leading role in much of the past work performed by CCNA. We are highly computer-literate, and are capable of designing and programming customized software when needed. Additionally, we have conducted extensive web-based research projects on a broad range of topics, and are highly conversant with internet technology.

Effective Communications

CCNA consultants have extensive experience presenting complex concepts in consulting engagements to all levels of organizations, as well as to external constituencies. Our consultants have made presentations ranging from training sessions for utility staff to strategic recommendations to the top managers and executives in utilities, industrial companies, and government. Several of our consultants have also served as expert witnesses, or have written testimony in support of various regulatory hearings in the United States.
